As a designer, this site speaks to me.

  • www.msnbc.com — Microsoft and NBC team up to tell you the news

JOH : News

  • www.cnn.com — a reputable news source
  • www.salon.com — a slightly different take on the news with typically better writing

Games on the Web

MOH : Yahoo! Games

I have always been a fan of card games since I was maybe five years old and my parents taught all of us how to play "Rook". Incredibly enough I had never visited "Yahoo Games" until a few months ago when I was looking for information about an old game I learned in years ago called "Euchre". If you are a card game fan you have got to try it out... but I warn you, it is terribly addicting.

JOH : Games

MOH plays enough games for the both of us, to be sure... :)

Link of the Week

MOH : Screenit.com

I love movies and this site provides a detailed break down of what type of content each movie has, from "Swearing" to "Tense Family Scenes". It gives you a good idea of what your movie experience might be like, and in a few cases it has prevented me from seeing movies. That's why it's my "Link of the Week".

JOH : Tivo.com

I hate to sound like a commercial, but I can't speak highly enough about this product... A couple of months ago, we got a Tivo. If you don't know about them, then you have to check them out. Much good stuff going on here. It will change the way you watch TV forever (and probably change the amount of TV you watch as well...!). I'll include some other cool Tivo links in the future, so keep watch.
